Here I go through what 'The Pill' does to the body. The Oral Contraceptive Pill has long been lauded as something women can take to regulate their menstrual cycles. The truth is, the pill traditionally was birth control, but in order to make it socially acceptable is was branded as something that regulates women's cycles.
All too often when women want to come off 'the pill' depending on how long you've been on it, it can be very bumpy and dramatic. The hormones you take when you take The Pill are not the same as the body makes on its own.
